Oh This Us will be one of the headline acts in the £150,000 Sun Racing All-Weather Mile Championship at Lingfield Park on £1-million All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 19.

The 113-rated six-year-old posted some excellent efforts in G2 company on turf in the autumn, finishing third in the seven-furlong Park Stakes at Doncaster before going a place better in the Prix Daniel Wildenstein over a mile at Longchamp, France.

Following a 106-day break, Oh This Is Us finished second to Hathal in a conditions race at Wolverhampton on February 4 and looked as a good as ever on his penultimate start when defying a rating of 110 in a mile handicap at Lingfield Park on February 23.

On the back of that, he was sent off the 5/4 favourite for the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes at Wolverhampton on March 9, a Fast-Track Qualifier, but could never land a blow as he trailed home seventh behind Above The Rest.

Trainer Richard Hannon said: "Oh This Is Us is in good form and on course for All-Weather Championships Finals Day.

"The plan is to run in the Mile Championship and we are hopeful that he can run a big race.

"He did not take to the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton last time so that run is best forgotten about.

"He has been a great servant to the yard down the years and has earned a lot of prize money.

"He still retains plenty of ability and we are looking forward to the race. Hopefully, he can run well."

Hannon has a good record on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, with his six runners to date yielding a victory in the 2014 Sun Racing All-Weather Championships Apprentice Handicap, courtesy of Viewpoint, and three placed efforts.

French raider Lucky Team (Joel Boisnard) sprung a 40/1 shock in the 2018 Sun Racing All-Weather Mile Championship and the seven-year-old could be back to defend his crown alongside compatriot Volfango (Fabrice Vermeulen), who captured a Fast-Track Qualifier at Cagnes-sur-Mer in February.

Along with Above The Rest (David Barron), the other Fast-Track Qualifier victors for the Sun Racing All-Weather Mile Championship are Flaming Spear (Dean Ivory) and possible Irish challenger Theobald (Jim Bolger).
