Lingfield Park Racecourse is turning up the heat this summer with its Summer Sounds series – a sensational mix of live music and racing running from late May through mid-September. Each fixture delivers an unforgettable day at the races, followed by show-stopping performances paying tribute to iconic genres and artists.

Saturday, 31 May – Soul & Motown Racenight
The season opener sets a smooth and soulful tone with timeless hits from the Motown era. Expect classics from legends like Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, and The Temptations, perfect for fans who love to groove after a full card of racing.
Saturday, 7 June – An Evening with Supersonic Queen
Freddie Mercury fans rejoice! Supersonic Queen brings stadium-sized energy to Lingfield with a pitch-perfect tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Get ready to shout We Will Rock You as the sun sets over the final furlong.
Saturday, 21 June – 80s at the Races
Neon, synth-pop, and unforgettable hairdos return in this dance-filled retro night. Expect performances packed with nostalgia, featuring hits from artists like Duran Duran, Madonna, and Wham! – all following an afternoon of exciting flat racing.
Saturday, 28 June – Nashville Country & Western Racenight
Put on your boots and cowboy hats for this Southern-style showcase. With classic and contemporary country hits, this fixture promises a rootin’-tootin’ time post-racing. Line dancing and country vibes guaranteed!
Saturday, 2 August – ABBA The Party Racenight
A Summer Sounds favourite! Dance queens and kings will flock to hear Waterloo, Take a Chance on Me, and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! as ABBA is celebrated in full glittery glory. Don your flares and prepare to sing your heart out.
Saturday, 9 August – Rock at the Races
Crank up the volume with rock anthems that span generations. From classic to modern rock, this event is set to bring electric guitar riffs and thunderous applause once the racing ends.
Saturday, 30 August – Ladies Day

Saturday, 13 September – End of Summer Party
