Customer Information during the rail strike
We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to attend this Saturday’s racing.
With rail strikes taking place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week, we wanted to outline the transport options in place alongside additional measures to help you get here for our fixture on Saturday 25 June.
Plan ahead
We’d recommend you leave extra time to travel to the racecourse.
Gates open two hours before the first race at 5.45pm and there’ll be plenty of bars and eateries open from gates open. The last race takes place at 8.45pm. We advise you to book your taxi’s around 9:45pm as the entertainment will be concluding and the bars will have closed.
Parking
If you are driving to the racecourse, please be assured we have plenty of free parking available. For those who wish to make the most of the hospitality on site, you are welcome to leave your cars overnight and collect them the following day.
Taxi’s
We do strongly advise you to pre-book your taxis for the end of the evening. We do not have a taxi-rank at the racecourse so it will only be pre-booked cabs available. We will create a drop-off/pick-up taxi zone on the evening close to the entrance.
We advise you to book your taxi’s around 9:45pm as the entertainment will be concluding and the bars will have closed.
