Welcome to your essential guide to Good Friday All-Weather Championships Vase Day!
We look forward to welcoming you to Lingfield Park for a day of exhilarating All-Weather racing and live entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place today, and answers any questions you may have.
KEY TIMINGS:
Gates and concessions open – 11:30am
Easter Egg Hunt starts – 11:30am – Racecourse Reception
Funfair and facepainting - from 11:30am - Hotel Lawn and Paddock Lawn
Family Zone open – 11:30am – Paddock Lawn
Shetland Pony Race – 12:30pm
First race – 1:30pm
Urban Dance Performers – 2:15pm - Courtyard
Easter Egg Hunt closes – 4:00pm
Last race – 4:50pm
TRAVEL:
This will be an extremely busy event so please allow extra time to travel to and from the racecourse. Due to limited parking on hard standing ground, we advise people to car share where possible, make use of public transport and taxis, or walk if you can.
Lingfield train station is just a short 5 minute walk from the racecourse.

PARKING:
Parking is free on site but is limited and will be provided on a first come first served basis, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment and any queues. Please inform the stewards on arrival if you require accessible car parking.
ENTERTAINMENT:
If you have come as a family today, head over to the Paddock Lawn for our brand new Family Zone which has a wide range of garden games, inflatables and a big screen to watch all the racing action. We also have a selection of fun fair rides on the Hotel Lawn and facepainting on the Paddock Lawn.
SHETLAND PONY RACE:
There is a Shetland Pony Race taking place before the first official race of the day. This will be racing on the All-Weather Track at 12:30pm.
EASTER EGG HUNT:
Our Easter Egg Hunt will take place around the racecourse site and awards those who successfully find all clues and complete the form an Easter Egg. Entry is free and anyone can enter by collecting a form from the racecourse reception from 11:30am. Egg hunters will have until 4pm to find the clues before the hunt closes.
WEATHER:
The forecast for Friday is sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, with highs of 15 degrees (as of Tuesday 15th April). Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly!
FOOD & DRINK:
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.
UNDER 18S:
Racegoers under the age of 18 years old will be able to receive a green wrist band to be provided with parent’s contact details. This will be available at both entry gates.
SECURITY:
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
PAYMENT:
Please remember, the majority of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
