The summer season is in full swing and it has been a great start to 2018. We have restocked our on-site shop with the latest Callaway and Taylor Made gear (much to the delight of our stylish resident golf pros!) along with new Society packages, revamped 'Pay As You Play' offering and refined residential golf packages with Gary Gilligan. It's been a busy season-start, with much more just round the corner...
'Five Things' with Toby Chandler:
Who are you? I am Toby Chandler, Lingfield Park Resort's new Golf Operations Manager. I'm a Pro Golfer and am Surrey born and bred.
How did you get into golf? I was introduced to the game by Ben St John when I was 15 years old. The rest is history.
What's your favourite hole at Lingfield Park Resort? Definitely the 15th. It's a tough par 5 hole, all uphill with a severe dog leg left. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Do you have a top tip for visitors to Lingfield Park Resort? Keep it straight: leave the Driver in the bag.
What do you think is the biggest misconception the public have about Golf at Lingfield Park Resort? That we close on race days. Also that we only have 9 holes - we have a full 18 hole par 72 course and are open every day.
