Welcome to your essential guide to Summer Sounds Rum & Reggae Caribbean Carnival!
We look forward to welcoming you to Lingfield Park for a day of exhilarating Flat racing and live Reggae Entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place on Saturday, and answers any questions you may have.
KEY TIMINGS:
Gates and concessions open – 16:00
Live DJ with Solo Steel Pianist - from 16:00 - Courtyard
Roaming Drummers – from 16:00 – around the Racecourse
First race – 18:00
Last race – 21:00
Live Reggae Band Performance – from 21:15 – Paddock Lawn
TRAVEL:
Please allow extra time to travel to and from the racecourse. There will be plenty of parking available in the Public Car Park across Racecourse Road.
Lingfield train station is just a short 5 minute walk from the racecourse.

PARKING:
Parking is free on site but is limited and will be provided on a first come first served basis, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment and any queues. Please inform the stewards on arrival if you require accessible car parking.
ENTERTAINMENT:
We have a variety of roaming entertainment on-site throughout the day, including a live DJ performance in the Courtyard accompanied by a Steel Pianist and roaming Reggae Drummers around the racecourse before & in between racing.
We also have a live performance from our Reggae Rhythms band after racing which is located on the Paddock Lawn opposite the Racecourse Reception.
WEATHER:
The forecast for Saturday is cloudy changing to light showers by lunchtime, with highs of 19 degrees (as of Wednesday 19th June). Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly!
FOOD & DRINK:
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.
SECURITY:
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff. You may be subject to a pat down and bag search.
PAYMENT:
Please remember, the majority of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
