We are proud to announce the winner of our Good Friday AWC Vase Day Racecard Design Competition for local Primary School kids. Abbie Shaw (aged 9), a pupil from Blackwell Primary School, has been selected as the winning artist of our local school competition.
Abbie's winning design, embodying the theme "What makes your Friday Great," captivates with its imaginative portrayal and communal spirit, perfectly aligning with the theme of the AWC Vase Day.
In recognition of her outstanding achievement, Abbie received:
- A Family Pass to AWC Vase Day
- £100 cash prize for Blackwell Primary School
- A Colouring Kit
- Her winning racecard design displayed around the racecourse.
- Abbie's classmates will enjoy a day at the races with a Family Pass each.
The Good Friday AWC Vase Day Racecard Design Competition celebrates local talent and highlights the importance & value of the local community. Abbie’s design was selected from entries from 7 local primary schools.
