Since its inaugural fixture in 2013, the All-Weather Vase Raceday has become a beloved Surrey Easter tradition. It features seven exciting races, with top horses competing across the All-Weather Championship Vase categories for a share of the prize pot. Even if you’ve never been to a horse racing event before, the thrill of watching horses gallop toward the finishing line is infectious and you’ll soon be cheering along!
The All-Weather Vase Raceday is as much about the entertainment off the track as it is the racing, making it perfect for kids and adults alike. Children under 18 can attend for FREE, and all family entertainment is included in the ticket price. The All-Weather Vase Day is designed to be welcoming, making it the perfect introduction for first-time visitors. The afternoon is structured around a series of races with plenty of time in between to grab some food, enjoy entertainment and explore the grounds. The parade ring is well worth a visit around 15 minutes before a race begins, to see the horses up close. Each race lasts just minutes, which is perfect for little ones with shorter attention spans. On Good Friday, if it rains during the period from when gates open to the end of the last race, you could be invited back to an alternative raceday, on us!
